Julio is a team player and a proven Global Operations professional with solid manufacturing background. demonstrated with successes in 30+ countries, delivering value in Fortune 500 companies across three industries: automotive, electrical and FMCG. He started from the ground up, in his teens, qualified as a CNC machinist in Mexico, then graduated as Industrial Engineer. This was followed by him joining the automotive industry, where he worked for tier-one automotive suppliers in a variety of operational roles. Having worked across North America, he relocated to Europe during his MBA internship, as part of a global team of Lean experts. Here he oversaw the design, development and implementation of the Just-in-Time module for the production system in an automotive facility in Sweden. |

Following a successful launch of the production system, he was invited to re-join Arvin Meritor to lead Value Engineering in Europe. While at Dana Corporation, he specialized in platforms and technology transfers across the world, where he had the opportunity to work globally since 2011. During his time in Eaton, he designed and developed the Global Industrialization function, to enable multi-site product launches, allowing the company to maintain the same quality and cost standards for key product lines. Subsequently, in Philips Lighting, he led Advanced Manufacturing, and led the creation and launch of Manufacturing Standards, to capture and retain best practices, and enabled the Networks of Experts way-of working. His main specialty is Production Systems Architecture, and is currently the Head of Global Manufacturing for KraftHeinz. Here he is responsible leading Safety, Business Continuity, Sustainability for Operations, Capacity, CAPEX, and Operational Excellence for 80 sites globally. He enjoys the outdoors, and is a big fan of boating, cruising and fine dining. Julio is married to Ana, and they expect their first European-born child by January 2020. |
